Software Products
The following products are slated for commercial release by DecisionFX,
Inc. at the end of 1999. Several of these products are under license from
Sandia National Laboratories and the Department of Energy, who sponsored
their initial product development for government use only. The products
advertised here are for commercial and government use. Each product is designed
for ease-of-use, point-and-click operation on a Windows or Macintosh platform,
with intuitive interfaces and real-time graphical display of results to
streamline the analysis capabilities of the user. The GroundwaterFX
and SamplingFX products are undergoing a technical review within
the EPA's Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program. For additional

RiskFX - a human health
risk assessment package, handling both chemical and radioactive contaminant
exposures, comprehensive pathways analysis, accounting cummulative health
effects, capable of performing probabilistic (i.e., Monte Carlo) analyses
to quantify uncertainties in risk, sensitivity analysis to prioritize characterization
needs, estimates of risk-based cleanup concentration thresholds, and real-time

GroundwaterFX - a comprehensive
groundwater flow and transport simulator with decision analysis capabilities,
probabilistic (i.e., Monte Carlo) analysis methods to quantify uncertainty,
geostatistical algorithms to quantitatively address spatial variability,
a conditioning algorithm to assure that model simulation results honor
the observed water quality data from a site, an operations research algorithm
to assist in defining the adequacy of a monitor well network (e.g., numbers
and locations of wells), and real-time graphical display of results. Click

SamplingFX - a comprehensive
geostatistical simulator with decision analysis capabilities, probabilistic
(i.e., Monte Carlo) analysis methods to quantify uncertainty in the nature
and extent of contamination, a conditioning algorithm to assure that model
simulation results honor the observed soil concentration data from a site,
volume estimating of contaminant plumes, an operations research algorithm
to assist in defining the adequacy of a soil sampling network (e.g., numbers
and locations of soil samples), and real-time graphical display of results.
